VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance can support and validate the base version of Domain Manager.
For more information on the VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance interoperability with Domain Managers, see Software Versions and Interoperability and Interop Tool.
VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance supports and validates the base version of Domain Manager by leveraging the following approach:
- VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance Domain Manager collector for notifications: Collects notifications and lifecycle changes from presentation SAM using Domain Manager Java APIs and publishes on internal Kafka. The collection is generic enough to collect the data from different versions of Domain Manager SAM.
- VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance events ingestion pipeline: The event ingestion pipeline consumes the events from internal Kafka and persists in the Elasticsearch database.
- VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance Domain Manager collector for topology: Collects topology and subsequent changes on topology from presentation SAM using Domain Manager Java APIs and publishes on internal Kafka. The collection is generic enough to collect the data from different versions of Domain Manager SAM.
- VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance topology ingestion pipeline: The topology ingestion pipeline consumes the topology from internal Kafka and persists in the Arango database.
- VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance Domain Manager collector for metrics: Collects metrics from Domain Manager IP-AM-PM using Domain Manager Java APIs and publishes on internal Kafka. The collection is generic enough to collect the data from different versions of Domain Manager IP-AM-PM.
- VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance metrics ingestion pipeline: The metrics ingestion pipeline consumes the metrics from internal Kafka and persists in the Elasticsearch database.
- The VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance topology, event, and metric model and interfaces are generic enough to enable UI and report rendering for different versions of Domain Manager.
