Upgrade VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance through VMware Telco Cloud Automation

Using the steps listed in this section, you can upgrade VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance using VMware Telco Cloud Automation from 2.1 to 2.2.

At a high level, the upgrade of VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance using VMware Telco Cloud Automation involves the following steps:

1. Ensure that you perform the prerequisites mentioned in Prerequisites for Upgrading VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance topic.
2. Download and extract the installer package.
3. Onboard Container Network Functions.
4. Upgrade Container Network Functions.

Note: Before you start the patch deployment, make a note of all the input parameters which were specified as part of base VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance deployment. This is required during the patch deployment process.

• For VMware Telco Cloud Automation 2.2 or 2.3, navigate to VMware Telco Cloud Automation UI > Inventory > Network Function > VMware Telco Cloud Service Assurance Network Function Instance > Parameter.
