As with most Smarts configuration files, the bgp.conf, eigrp.conf, isis.conf, and ospf.conf files are used to set attributes for certain objects within a Domain Manager’s environment when the Domain Manager starts up. The parameters and their values in a configuration file become the attributes and their values for the created objects.
