Check the status of the Smarts Manager

Use the brcontrol command to check the status of the Smarts Manager. The syntax is:

<BASEDIR>/smarts/bin/brcontrol

By default, this command returns a list of Smarts Managers registered with the broker and their current state. The list indicates whether an Smarts Manager’s state is RUNNING or DEAD. If the Smarts Manager is not running or included in the list, restart the Smarts Manager.
