Check communication to the Smarts Manager’s host

If the adapter and the Smarts Manager run on different hosts, the adapter’s host might not be able to communicate with the Smarts Manager’s host. From the adapter’s host, run the following command:

         dmctl
         --server=<InCharge_Manager> ping
      

The results of this command show whether the Smarts Manager is alive or unavailable.
