Creating a Credential (Lenovo Compute)

One of the required configuration tasks for the Management Pack is to create a set of credentials in vROps.

Prerequisites

• Installing the Management Pack (Lenovo Compute)

Procedure

1. Log in to vRealize Operations as an admin user.
2. Click the Administration  icon. In the left panel, click Credentials.
3. Click the Add  icon. In the Manage Credential window that appears, enter the following information:

   XClarity

   
   
   

   1. Credential Kind: Lenovo XClarity Administrator API Credentials
   2. Credential name: A name for this set of Management Pack credentials
   3. XClarity User Name: XClarity Administrator User Name
   4. XClarity Password: Password associated with XClarity Adminstrator User Name
4. Click OK to save your credential.
