The Management Pack for Microsoft IIS creates Resource Kinds and Relationships (associations) for critical resources in your Microsoft IIS environment.
Resource Kinds
Performance, health, and availability data are collected for the following Microsoft IIS resource kinds:
- Application
- Application Pool
- Virtual Directory
- Web Server
- Web Site
- Worker Process
Note: By default, the Management Pack does not collect Worker Processes. If you want these resources and metrics collected, be sure to change the Enable Worker Processes Advanced Setting to true when Creating an Adapter Instance (Microsoft IIS).
Relationships
Relationships among discovered resources are also created by the Management Pack, which are depicted in the diagram below.
