Creating a Credential (MongoDB)

One of the required configuration tasks for the Management Pack is to create a set of credentials in vROps.

Prerequisites

• Installing the Management Pack (MongoDB)

Procedure

1. From the top navigation bar, select Administration. In the left panel, expand the Management category and select Credentials.
2. Click the Add icon. In the Manage Credential window that appears, select whether or not authentication is required for your MongoDB environment, then enter the information indicated below:
   
   
   

   Authentication Required	Authentication Not Required
   Credential name: Assign the credentials a name	Credential name: Assign the credentials a name
   Mongos Authentication: Default/LDAP SASL	Authentication Not Required: Set to True
   Mongos Password: Mongos Password
   Mongod Authentication: Default/LDAP SASL
   Mongod User Name: Mongod User Name
   Mongod Password: Mongod Password
