Creating a Credential (SAP)

One of the required configuration tasks for the Management Pack for SAP is to create a set of credentials in vROps using your SAP Control WebService Interface user name and password.

Prerequisites

• Install the Management Pack. See: Installing the Management Pack (SAP)

Procedure

1. Log in to vRealize Operations as an admin user.
2. Click the Administration icon. In the left panel, click Credentials.
3. 
   

   Add

   

   • Credential name: A name for this set of credentials

   • User Name: Your SAP Control WebService Interface User Name

   • Password: The password associated with your SAP Control WebService Interface User Name

   • vRealize User Name: User Name for your vRealize Operations system

   • vRealize Password: Password for your vRealize Operations system

Results

Important:

The vRealize user name and password fields are shown only when the deprecated credential kind is selected. These fields are maintained for backward compatibility purposes only and are not necessary for proper operation of the Management Pack.
