Creating a Credential (VMware Tanzu Application Service)

One of the required configuration tasks for the Management Pack is to create a set of credentials in vROps.

Prerequisites

• Installing the Management Pack (VMware Tanzu Application Service)

Procedure

1. From the top navigation bar, select Administration . In the left panel, expand the Management category and select Credentials.
   
   
   
2. Click the Add  icon. In the Manage Credential window that appears, enter the following information, then click OK to save your credentials:
   
   
   

Results

• Credential name: A name for this set of credentials

  Note: See Obtaining Nozzle, Cloud Controller, and BOSH Director Credentials (VMware Tanzu Application Service) for more information on how to find/create the required credentials listed below.

• Nozzle API Username/Password: UAA Client and password used in your Nozzle configuration

• Cloud Controller API Username/Password: UAA User and password

• BOSH Director API Username/Password:BOSH Director UAA Client and password
