14 APR 2021	VMware has rebranded the My VMware portal as VMware Customer Connect. We updated this guide to reflect this name change.
02 APR 2021	Updated the list of supported browser versions for the vSphere Web Client in vSphere Web Client Software Requirements. Internet Explorer was removed as a supported web browser for use with the vSphere Web Client.
11 AUG 2020	At VMware, we value inclusion. To foster this principle within our customer, partner, and internal community, we are replacing some of the terminology in our content. We updated this guide to remove instances of non-inclusive language.
28 APR 2020	Added the prerequisite that, when deploying a new vCenter Server as part of an Enhanced Linked Mode deployment, you must create an image-based backup of the existing vCenter Server nodes in your environment. You can use the backup as a precaution in case there is a failure during the deployment process. See Prerequisites for Deploying the vCenter Server Appliance or Platform Services Controller Appliance.
28 JUN 2019	Updated the maximum configuration of vCenter Server Appliance with embedded Platform Services Controller nodes and vCenter Server with external Platform Services Controller installations that can be joined with vCenter Enhanced Linked Mode in vCenter Enhanced Linked Mode.

10 JULY 2018	Updated Deploying the vCenter Server Appliance and Platform Services Controller Appliance to clarify IPv4 and IPv6 support.
22 JUNE 2018	Added a note in Installation and Upgrade Script Commands that the %firstboot script does not run if secure boot is enabled on the ESXi host. Added VMware vSphere Authentication Proxy ports (7475 and 7476) to Required Ports for vCenter Server and Platform Services Controller. Clarified the list of unsupported backups and recoveries in Image-Based Backup and Restore of a vCenter Server Environment, are unsupported using vSphere Data Protection. Updated vCenter High Availability information for vCenter embedded linked mode in vCenter Embedded Linked Mode for a vCenter Server Appliance with Embedded Platform Services Controller.
10 MAY 2018	Added a note that Default-First-Site should be used as the site name for the first instance when setting up an embedded linked mode in Stage 2 - Set up the Newly Deployed vCenter Server Appliance with an Embedded Platform Services Controller and Deployment Configuration Parameters. Updated descriptions for embedded_vCSA_replication_on_ESXi.json and embedded_vCSA_replication_on_VC.json templates in JSON Templates for CLI Deployment of the vCenter Server Appliance and Platform Services Controller Appliance.
07 MAY 2018	Updated description for vCenter Server with an embedded Platform Services Controller in vCenter Server and Platform Services Controller Deployment Types to include enhanced linked mode capability. Added statement that embedded linked mode is supported starting with vSphere 6.5 Update 2 in vCenter Embedded Linked Mode for a vCenter Server Appliance with Embedded Platform Services Controller.
