Resolved Issues

The resolved issues are grouped as follows.

Virtual Machine Management Issues
  • If vSphere Cluster Service agent virtual machines are placed in datastores protected by VMware Site Recovery Manager, migration of such datastores fails

If you deploy vSphere Cluster Service agent virtual machines on a datastore that is part of an array-based replication protection group, planned migrations of such datastores fail, because the agent VMs do not power off.

This issue is resolved in this release.

Known Issues

The known issues are grouped as follows.

Upgrade Issues
  • In the Virtual Appliance Management Interface, you do not see vCenter Server 7.0 Update 1 as an option for update

If you select the Use default repository option in the Virtual Appliance Management Interface on a vCenter Sever 7.0 system, you do not see vCenter Server 7.0 Update 1 (7.0.1) as an available update. You see vCenter Server 7.0 Update 1a as the latest available update.

Workaround: Use an alternative way to update to vCenter Server 7.0 Update 1. For more information, see Patching and Updating vCenter Server 7.0 Deployments and VMware knowledge base article 81287.

  • You cannot run an upgrade precheck for vCenter Server 7.0 Update 1 by using the Update Planner

In the vSphere Client, when you navigate to Updates > Update Planner, and select vCenter Server 7.0 Update 1 as your target vCenter Server to generate an upgrade precheck, you see an error such as: Update 7.0.1.00000 is not found.

    Workaround: None
