You provision TKG Service clusters in a vSphere Namespace.

Create a vSphere Namespace to host one or more TKG Service clusters.

Procedure

  1. Log into vCenter Server using the vSphere Client.
  2. SelectWorkload Management > Namespaces > New Namespace.
  3. Select the vSphere cluster where Supervisor is enabled.
  4. Enter a name for the vSphere Namespace.
    The name must be in a DNS-compliant format and the name must be unique across all Supervisor instances managed by vCenter Server.
  5. Enter a description for the vSphere Namespace.
  6. Specify the Namespace Network based on the type of network stack used for Supervisor.

    Select a Workload Network from the Network menu.

    NSX Networking

    Inherit the network from Supervisor, in which case no action is needed.

    Or, select Override cluster network settings and customize the network for this vSphere Namespace. See Override Workload Network Settings for a vSphere Namespace.

  7. Click Create to create the vSphere Namespace.
    The namespace is created on the Supervisor.
  8. Configure the vSphere Namespace for TKG clusters. See Configure a vSphere Namespace for TKG Service Clusters.
