The Cloud Consumption Interface (CCI) is available to both new and existing VMware Aria Automation users, with somewhat different configuration paths for each type of user.
There are two configuration paths for CCI users:
- The first path is designed for new VMware Aria Automation users who are working with the free trial version of VMware Aria Automation configured through the Developer Experience feature in vSphere+. These users gain access to a full featured version of VMware Aria Automation, including CCI, and Developer Experience sets up all of the infrastructure required to begin working with CCI.
- The second path us for existing VMware Aria Automation users who want to manage their vSphere Kubernetes resources. These users can access the Automation Service Broker CCI UI by default and they can use UIs, APIs and command line tools to configure the infrastructure needed to support CCI usage.
Both cases assume that the user has set up vSphere+ and connected one or more of their vCenters to it so they can work with their vSphere Kubernetes resources.
