Re-release: Windows Sensor 7.4.0

The VMware Carbon Black EDR Windows team is pleased to announce the general availability of Windows Sensor 7.4.0 (7.4.0-win) beginning on Tuesday, 25 April 2023.

This is a re-release of 7.4.0-win, which was originally released on 21 February 2023, but was removed from Carbon Black Hosted EDR general availability due to an issue that impacted Carbon Black Hosted EDR instances. For on-prem Carbon Black EDR customers, there is no material difference between the initial release of 7.4.0-win and this re-release of 7.4.0-win.

7.4.0-win is a Minor release that delivers:

• IPv6 support
  Note:

  Complementary backend support is required for communication between the Carbon Black EDR Windows Sensor running on an endpoint with an IPv6 address and Carbon Black EDR Server. Backend support of IPv6 is not yet available; it will be delivered in a future release of Carbon Black EDR Server.

• Bug fixes and other small enhancements
