Unregister a vCenter Instance From Your VMware Cloud Director

To stop using the resources of a vCenter instance, you can remove this vCenter instance from your VMware Cloud Director installation.

Prerequisites

• Deactivate the vCenter instance. See Activate or Deactivate a vCenter Instance in Your VMware Cloud Director.
• Delete all provider virtual data centers that use resource pools from this vCenter instance. See Delete a Provider Virtual Data Center in Your VMware Cloud Director.

Procedure

1. From the primary left navigation panel, select Resources, and from the page top navigation bar, select Infrastructure Resources.
2. From the secondary left panel, select vCenter Server Instances.
3. Click the radio button next to the name of the target vCenter instance, and click Unregister.
4. To confirm, click OK.
