To stop using the resources of a vCenter instance, you can remove this vCenter instance from your VMware Cloud Director installation.
Prerequisites
- Deactivate the vCenter instance. See Activate or Deactivate a vCenter Instance in Your VMware Cloud Director.
- Delete all provider virtual data centers that use resource pools from this vCenter instance. See Delete a Provider Virtual Data Center in Your VMware Cloud Director.
Procedure
- From the primary left navigation panel, select Resources, and from the page top navigation bar, select Infrastructure Resources.
- From the secondary left panel, select vCenter Server Instances.
- Click the radio button next to the name of the target vCenter instance, and click Unregister.
- To confirm, click OK.
