Create a VMware Cloud Director Organization

As a service provider or a sub-provider, you can use the Tenant Portal to create tenant organizations.

An organization is the fundamental VMware Cloud Director grouping that contains users, the vApps that they create, and the resources that the vApps use. An organization is a top-level container in a cloud that contains one or more organization virtual data centers (VDCs) and catalog entities.

Procedure

1. Log in to a sub-provider organization as a sub-provider administrator or a system administrator.
2. From the primary left navigation panel, select Could Resources.
3. From the secondary left navigation, select Organizations and click New.
4. Enter the following values.

   Option	Description
   Organization name	The unique identifier that forms the URL for accessing the Tenant Portal of the organization.
   Organization full name	Full name of the organization.
   Description	An optional description for the organization.

5. Click Create.
