Use the following steps to configure VoIP Availability Manager for failover:

  1. Disable discovery and topology synchronization in VoIP Availability Manager on page 44

  2. Configure the VoIP Availability Manager in the Active and Standby locations on page 45

  3. Configure VoIP Trap Adapter on Active and Standby hosts on page 45

  4. Start the services for VoIP Availability Manager and VoIP Trap Adapter on page 46

  5. Configure the VoIP Availability Manager as a source for SAM on page 46

  6. Add VoIP Availability Manager and VoIP Trap Adapter to the Failover Manager on page 47
