  • Overview of VMware Integrated Openstack management support
    VMware Integrated OpenStack (VIO) is a VMware supported OpenStack distribution that makes it easy for IT to run and manage an enterprise-grade OpenStack cloud on top of VMware Infrastructure. The VMware Integrated OpenStack architecture connects various virtual resources to the OpenStack Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Identity and Horizon services.
  • VIO compute support (using NOVA API)
    The Server Manager uses NOVA API to discover the compute services components.
  • VIO block storage support (using CINDER API)
    Server manager uses CINDER API to discover the block storage services components.
  • VIO network support (using Neutron API)
    Server Manager uses Neutron API to discover the network services components.
