During this phase of discovery, the VoIP Availability Manager retrieves additional IP phone-related topology, specifically all cards and switch ports connected to IP phones, from the IP Availability Manager and creates objects in the repository. Only necessary cards and ports are imported from IP Availability Manager based on the results of Phase 2 discovery probes for IP phones.
Phone-related topology added to the VoIP Availability Manager repository identifies the objects related to IP phones.
