VMware Tanzu Application Requirements

Connection

Hostnames (or IP addresses) for the following:

  1. Blue Medora Nozzle for PCF (The Blue Medora Nozzle for PCF must be deployed prior to Creating an Adapter Instance (VMware Tanzu Application Service). See: Setting Up the Blue Medora Nozzle for PCF (VMware Tanzu Application Service).)

    Note:

    We recommend upgrading to the latest version of the nozzle for optimized performance.

  2. Cloud Controller API

  3. BOSH Director API

Networking

Default Ports:

  • Nozzle API:443 (Tile deployment), but must match your nozzle configuration. (e.g., BOSH install default port is 8081).

  • Cloud Controller API Port:443

    • The management pack also accesses the UAA at the address specified in the authorization_endpoint in /info on the Cloud Controller API.

  • BOSH Director API Port:25555

    • The management pack also accesses the UAA at the address specified in the user_authentication endpoint in /info on the BOSH Director API.

Credentials

Usernames and Passwords for the following:

  1. Blue Medora Nozzle for PCF (UAA Client credentials)

  2. Cloud Controller API (UAA User credentials)

  3. BOSH Director API (BOSH Director UAA Client credentials)
