Resolved Issues

The resolved issues are grouped as follows.

Miscellaneous Issues
  • In the vSphere Client, you see failed events for vSphere Cluster Service (vCLS) virtual machines in the Events tab

In the Events tab of the vSphere Client, you might see errors for failed events for vCLS virtual machines such as An error occurred while customizing VM vCLS-xxxxxx. For details reference the log file /var/log/vmware-imc/toolsDeployPkg.log in the guest OS. A password reset in the background, which does not affect the operation of the vCLS VMs, causes the failures. The issue affects vCenter Server 7.0 Update 3 and later.

This issue is resolved in this release. Even if you see a failed event with An error occurred while customizing VM vCLS-xxxxxx. message, you can ignore the warning.
