Prerequisites
- Verify that vCloud Usage Meter can connect to VMware Cloud Director Availability.
- Verify that you have the root credentials for the VMware Cloud Director Availability appliance.
- Verify that the VMware Cloud Director Availability certificate is FIPS compliant.
Procedure
- In the main menu bar of the vCloud Usage Meter Web interface, click Products.
- Navigate to .
- On the Cloud Director Availability page, click the Add.
- In the Endpoint text box, enter the host name or IP address of your VMware Cloud Director Availability instance.
- In the Username and Password text boxes, enter the credentials of a VMware Cloud Director Availability root user.
- Click Add.
Results
The product is part of the list of instances. If an error occurs, a message appears in the Status column in the Cloud Director Availability list of instances.
