Edit or Delete a Component Signature

You can edit or delete a component signature that you have defined.

Prerequisites

• Ensure that you have the required permissions. For more information, see Overview Application Transformer for VMware Tanzu Roles.

• Add a Component Signature.

Procedure

1. Click Discovery from the main menu.
2. On the left navigation page, go to Settings > Component Signatures.
3. Using the component key, search for your component signature that you want to edit.
4. To edit the parameters of a component signature:
   1. Update the fields of your component signature, or download/replace custom collector scripts.
   2. Click Submit.
5. To delete a component signature, click Delete.
   Note: Deleting a component signature does not delete the previously detected signatures from the database. But, deleted component signatures will be removed from introspection filters.
