The Carbon Black Cloud Managed Detection and Response (MDR) platform provides reactive and proactive options for discovering and acting upon threats.

The MDR platform security solution provides critical insight into attacks by using automated machine learning algorithms to validate and prioritize alerts and to uncover new threats. Our expert security analysts use this information as they monitor threats in Carbon Black Cloud.

The MDR platform encompasses the following Carbon Black Cloud products:

• Carbon Black Managed Detection: Works with Carbon Black Cloud Endpoint Standard to triage high severity alerts.
• Carbon Black Managed Detection and Response: Works with Carbon Black Cloud Endpoint Standard to allow Carbon Black analysts triage high severity alerts and take action on likely threats. This includes communication with analysts, modifying poicies, quarantining assets, and banning hashes.
• Carbon Black Managed Threat Hunting: Works with Carbon Black Cloud Enterprise EDR to proactively hunt for emerging and prevalent threats.
