A DSM administrator manages and monitors system-wide VMware Data Services Manager settings from the Settings view.
Supported Actions
Actions that you can perform from the Settings view include:
Action | Description |

Edit System Settings | Change some of the DSM Provider VM settings, including DNS servers or NTP servers. You can also configure the DNS names for the Provider VM to enable access to the VM using the DNS name. You can use the System Settings tab to update incorrect vCenter entries when troubleshooting installation of VMware Data Services Manager. See Troubleshoot Installation of VMware Data Services Manager. |
Configure the repositories that VMware Data Services Manager uses to store backups of the Provider internal database and for storing generated log bundles. You can also add object storage buckets for database backup storage. |
