To import an XML document containing topology, events, or other objects, your XML document must comply with the ICIM/XML DTD. You may have a utility that exports the desired topology data as XML using a unique DTD as in Option A. If this is the case, use an XSL Transformation (XSLT), which is a language for transforming XML documents into other XML documents.
Alternatively, you can manually create an XML file that complies with the ICIM/XML DTD as in Option B.
