Two sets of user-configurable import datafiles, identified in Text import datafiles for Business Impact Manager and XML import datafiles for Business Impact Manager, are available with the Global Manager. “Defining business service and hierarchical group topology” on page 68, “Defining business weights” on page 79, and “Defining business event filters” on page 84 describe how to define entries in the import datafiles.
“Specifying text or XML datafiles” on page 85 describes how to specify which text-format or XML-format import datafiles are loaded by the Global Manager, for subsequent import by Business Impact Manager.
Regardless of the selection (TEXT or XML), the Global Manager will load and the Business Impact Manager will import the event filter import datafile.
