Summary
Displays provisioned SDDC resources and provides links you can use to add or remove hosts and clusters, rename or delete the SDDC, attach datastores to a cluster, or manage Microsoft Server Licenses for a cluster.
Networking & Security
The legacy Networking & Security view is deprecated as of SDDC version 1.22 and will be removed in a future release. Until then, you can temporarily revert to the legacy Networking & Security view by clicking Switch View in the Networking and Security dashboard banner.
Storage
Provides links you can use to attach external storage to an SDDC cluster. See About External Storage.
Elasticity
Provides a summary of the Elastic DRS policy configuration for each cluster and enables you manage resource provisioning to optimize the balance between performance and cost. See About Elastic DRS
Integrated Services
Provides links you can use to enable, manage or disable Integrated Services available for this SDDC. See Working With Integrated Services in the VMware Cloud on AWS Operations Guide.
Maintenance
Lists any upcoming SDDC maintenance events. See SDDC Upgrades and Maintenance.
Troubleshooting
Provides tests you can use to validate network connectivity status from the SDDC to remote endpoints. See Validate Network Connectivity for Hybrid Linked Mode in Managing the VMware Cloud on AWS Data Center.
Settings
Displays information about SDDC settings, pre-defined user accounts, and SDDC access via the API and PowerCLI.
Management Appliances | Displays the size of management appliances in this SDDC. These sizes were specified when the SDDC was created. Click UPSIZE to Upsize SDDC Management Appliances. |
vCenter FQDN | Shows the publicly resolvable FQDN of the vCenter instance in this SDDC and configures that public DNS entry to resolve to either the vCenter Public IP or Private IP to provide access over the Internet or a private connection. Default vCenter User Account | Displays the credentials for this pre-defined user. The password is generated when the SDDC is created. If you change it in vCenter, it does not get updated on this page. |
