Exercise

This exercise describes how to add an attribute for the serial number to the existing Router class in order to extend the following models:

• Network-Resource Manager

• IP-Perspective Manager

• IP-Analysis Manager

• Global Manager

  The syntax is the same as that used to declare any attribute in a MODEL class.

  Note:

  Use a unique prefix with new class names and other properties. The name must differ from existing ICIM classes and properties. “SM_” is used as a prefix in this exercise. Do not use "SM_" as this is already used by SDK.

  Unless otherwise noted, BASEDIR refers to the directory for the IP Manager.
